Webster defines Political Science as The study of governments and how they work. Where is the Science in Political Science; don’t Politicians currently succeed based on the art of persuasion. Why is there a Political Science major?
In Asian countries; politicians have either an Economics Degree and/or an Engineering Degree. Aren’t they responsible for our infrastructure and its maintenance; both physically and financially.
If politicians were proficient in the science and not the art of being a politician we might not be showing these signs of weakness. I will give you a Political Science degree but you better have a double major. Webster makes an assumption that governments work. What if politicians were paid when the economy was good.
