We have all heard the idiom; you can lead a horse to water but… you can’t make
it drink. Why haven’t we heard of the phrase you can teach a monkey to sign but
can’t make them…
The current generation has all the opportunity in the world
in front of them and their fingertips. But I get the feeling when the tough
questions come; they will be able to find the answer but won’t know how to ask
the question.
I come from a different generation; one where we created our
world, with our hands. We didn’t need to know the answer; we were still forming
the questions but then again I come from Generation Y.
…We can give this generation all the tools to be great but
we can’t make them successful. Monkeys have a full grasp of the English language
but not once have they ever asked a question.
