“Dad; When are we going to be a family again? ...When the
Angels win the Pennant”
Yes; I have been rooting for the Royals but not against the
Giants. It has been arbitrary until today. Here is why I am actually rooting
for the Royals tonight… Simply because they are the home team and I want those
40,000 fans lucky enough to get a ticket to have a memory that will last them
for a lifetime.
It doesn’t hurt that the starting pitcher for the Royals was
born and raised in Oregon . But
most importantly there is a kid somewhere in the Midwest
in which his dad promised him something grand; when the Royals win the Series.
